My name is Kenn Bo Cobb, and I have created this birthday campaign as a resource to help reduce student lunch debt and/or provide students in need with the opportunity to enjoy meals while at school.

For me, when I think about the meals or food, it frequently sends my memory back to the times my momma, Mary Ann Cobb, would prepare home-cooked meals for my siblings (Keith, Kevin, Kim, Karen, Kendrick, and Kent) and me. Her meals made us happy, put a smile on our faces, or put us in good moods.

That’s how I feel about students at school being able to enjoy breakfast and/or lunch, as it could put them in good moods, making them more focused or simply improving social skills. A good conversation over food can be effective!

I chose Deer Creek Elementary in Crowley, Texas as I wanted to be intentional with this campaign. I have a connection with the school as I have made fresh, natural smoothies for students, read books to 3rd graders, conversed with the front desk staff, and finally, my oldest god-son, Harlem, was promoted from 5th grade there, and my youngest god-son, Jaceion, is currently in 5th grade there.
