We believe that school lunch debt is a big contributor to stress for American families. Not everyone can qualify for reduced lunches or afford $4 lunches for their students every day. Some students’ only meals come from school and lunch debt can hinder students from eating a well-balanced meal which can affect their educational and academic performance due to no fault of their own. For some children as young as 5 years old, school lunch may be their only meal of the day so we are teaming up to make sure every child has access to lunch at school, regardless of their financial situation at home.
